Debut Assassin's Creed III Gameplay Trailer Dazzles

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed III and it’s stuffed with tasty gameplay footage.

Even though the game is still in the early alpha stage of development, it's already looking all kinds of awesome. With snow, ships, battlefields, free-running tree-running, Redcoats, bears, mountain climbing, Tomahawk murder and a bunch of badass moves - it’s pretty much got it all.

Can't believe how awesome it looks? Have a read of our latest preview. Rich reckons it could be "the most exciting and ambitious entry in the series yet."

Check out the vid below. Assassin’s Creed III is out on October 31st. Excited.

I imagine that's what it'll look like on PC at the highest specs. Hopefully the PS3 version will be just as sweet.

The facts that you can trough buildings make it even more awesome as a pre-alpha stage. Totally worth the buy.

@6 that was the part I was very impressed with, tearing through someones bedroom to catch you tartget LOL brillance.
This does look amazing so far and I like the new ways you can kill people I thought that everyone carrying guns might spoil it but no not at all

@7 I think those guns only have 1 bullet on the chamber. If you can pull out something like Connor does at 1:10 and make the guards throw their bullet away their guns become pretty useless and serve only as melee weapons.

I can't wait for that mission where you have to sneak into someones house and assassinate them in their bed. 100%: stay undetected the whole mission.

I won't buy this because the only reason I played AC 1 + 2 is because I liked ezio altair and more importantly their history and their setting an american revolution setting just doesn't do it for me

I was impressed with the running through buildings and can't wait to assassinate some bear cubs. Eliminate the blood line!

Preordered. Just a thought though, have a diverse storyline where you can play in allegiance to both Red Coats or Blue Shirts? Would make for a controversial yet more engaging story.

I really like the fact that although the enemies use guns your character does not focus on using them, well at least thats what I gather from this trailer and it could change before final release

Everytime i see a new game in the series released (im not just talking about assassins creed) i always think there gonna ruin it. 90% of the time im right. I hope this isnt gonna end up being shit. Also are they running it off a new engine?

I have very high expectations on this game because of all the new features and stuff but honestly this trailer was far from impressive for me.

@1 It's not more impressive that its Pre-Alpha testing, this means they still need to go through not only Alpha testing but Beta testing wither that in house or out sourced I'm not too sure. Cannot wait for this game but the Pre-Alpha basically means gameplay but not tested gameplay, Alpha testing is usually just a formality.
