Gutted that you missed out on all those reward packs for Mass Effect 3? Don’t be. Today, Bioware is dishing out all of the bonuses from previous multiplayer weekend events.

Up until Operation Exorcist, Mass Effect 3’s fortnightly multiplayer promotions were  only available to Xbox 360 and PC players. That was thanks to some faffing around by Sony behind the scenes. But now the situation is cleared up, Bioware are making up for lost time.

What that means is that PS3 users are being gifted the reward packs given out during the Operation Goliath and Raptor events. You can grab them direct from the PlayStation Store today.

The latest multiplayer weekend is Operation Silencer. You can find out all about it here.

Finally! The Multiplayer Reset Glitch hit me and I couldn't touch the game for that period.

Thanks to them for that. I missed those unfortunately so I'm glad I'll have them now.

Now all Bioware need to do is fix the damned single player ending for one that makes sense and reflects our choices, and they're back in my good books. Until then, my boycot of Bioware all future Bioware products will continue.

On a side note - got an Crusader and a Hurricane... two weapons i will never use >.>

Is this US-only? Can't find them in the EU PlayStation Store.

@4: If the PS3 version is anything like the 360 version you get the reward in game. Put the disc in, go to Multiplayer then go to Rewards and they should be there.

@3: Your an idiot. By the way I think me calling you an idiot is an insult to idiots. Your going to boycot all future Bioware products because you didn't like one ending to one game? Bet you still play it though right ;) your so hardcore not buying their products due to one bad ending.

Bad endings happen, suck it up and get over it.
Its their game, they can put whatever ending they want, you want your ending make your own game.

@7 allow me to explain - the boycott is something I'm doing for a number of reasons - the ending being the straw that broke the camels back.

1 - From Ashes - content that was developed for the game was removed to be charged as day one DLC - proof of this is found on the PC version of the game where by editing a single bit of coding, you unlock Javik as a selectable squad member. What was removed was his unlock mission, and a few lines of dialog.

2 - The Problems with the PS3 version - Bioware claimed that all 3 forms of the game would be identical, yet the PS3 version relased with some major frame rate issues on the Citadel. The problems with the MP were also added to this area, though they are now fixed. My main gripe was that problems like that with the MP should've been agreed upon and sorted out before the game hit the shelves - it's the common sense approach at least.

3 - The Endings - This was the final piece that did it for me. 3 generic endings where one of the options was actually impossible from a logical point of view (I know it's a video game but at least make sure the options work properly in the grand scheme of things!). The fact that, even on the PC and 360 versions, where by even making every single "best choice", it's impossible to get the so called "best ending" without touching MP. The worst thing is that you don't get to see how any of the major choices you made panned out aside from the war assests in the battle. The ending felt rushed, which let the game down, and for me ruined the replayability that I've been able to enjoy with ME1 and ME2

I see your explanation and agree with them, but I doubt there good enough reasons to boycott Bioware completely.

First reason- I'm sorry but Bioware aren't the only ones that do this? and I read too many times people complaining there isn't any DLC to a game so developers will block part of the game and then sell it because too many people complain about lack of DLC. It keeps some happy with money gained and some unhappy with money gained. What would you do?

Second Reason - Agree with, there shouldn't be any issues with games before release into todays world, but programmers are imperfect and their bosses are impatient, building a game for the Xbox/PS3/PC isn't all the same, one will have faults. At least now we can get patches, I get more bothered when they just don't bother with ANY fixes.

Third Reason - I played ME2 and really enjoyed it along with the different endings and I can see your frustration about the endings being to illogical but tell me you've never said something and thought it sounded better in your head? Maybe the developers thought of the endings and now realised there no so good, but its too late. Probably the bosses faults again for rushing things.

Your choice to boycott but many game developers have done similiar or worse mistakes.

lol @7 I bet he liked the endings...

But seriously, I agree with all bravelyforward said. Those three key reasons are all something I agree with and hold BioWare in contempt for. And, its why I see the developer in a new light - and not a good one. ME3 was still a great game, but the way things were handled as far as endings, the PS3 version and multiplayer, in general, is simply ridiculous.

I hold them more accountable than Sony for the multiplayer events, 'cuz at least Sony kept us informed. And, the color coded endings were something BioWare promised to avoid prior to release time and again. Finally, the DLC of ME2 wasn't half bad, well priced and had a ton of content... but ME3 BioWare attempted to nickel n' dime day one with a lore heavy character. At that rate, I'm truly surprised they didn't either A: make Shepard an unlockable DLC squad member or B: lock the true ending a la Asura's Wrath.

So ... has the MP progress deleting issue been solved yet? I'd like to play a mission noiw and then, but I don't want to lose anything.

How come I got a Commendation pack for Goliath and Raptor if they weren't on PS3?
