You mean it's possible to release a few maps without charging the best part of £15 for them...?!

Awesome. Assuming the paid DLC is something that'll stay balanced, I can see this doing nothing but good for the community! |

This is genius. I remember having to get all the DLC just so I could keep playing with my friends in Warhawk. Now that we get all the maps it wont be a problem :) I don't mind paying for vehicles and outfits etc. ^_^

Yeah I reckon the paid DLC will be visual stuff like new skins and such, if that's the case I'll probably buy some just because they're being cool and giving us maps for free :D I can support that!

Wow! A Developer is ACTUALLY going to give back to the people that pay their salaries. Imagine that. Now if we can get EA to stop dropping server support on all their games.....

See? It's not because "games cost soooooo much to make now". Is just developer greed.

Dylan Jobe said "paid map pack DLC for that game divided players, and after three expansions, the community was "pretty fractured." ..........Smartest thing a dev said all year!

Loving this to be honest. Even more incentive to buy this now, despite the fact I was already getting it. This is my multiplayer game of the summer and probably until Halo comes out :)

Awesome,at last a developer that cares about its players. I'll happily buy some skins or what ever paid dlc it is to show my thanks to them for caring about us once we've brought the game. More company's need to follow suit...

It's a start. Now instead of releasing itty-bitty DLCs every so often, compile them into one worthwhile EXPANSION PACK please. So fed up of these DLC marketing ploys.

If I squint just hard enough, it almost looks like it says Activision is giving out free maps for CoD.

@7 I don't know if games are particularly expensive to make or not. Map pack certainly should not be expensive, all of the game mechanics are already done, it is simply a matter rendering an environment, which I believe is not too hard. The CoD map packs are ridiculously over priced, for the amount they sell 75p per map would be a suitable price, and they would still make millions
