I'd have to say that regardless of it being "lolcod for babbies" or "activision is shit", keep in mind that, millions of people do play it, enjoy it, and to be fair to activision, who do charge for extra content, they don't charge/implement an online pass, so when people who don't buy new/straight off do buy it, they're not shunted for an extra £8.
It's a fun game, people play it, i don't see why everyone rags so much on it. |

What's with the hate? If you like CoD, fine. If you don't, why bother commenting? You have your opinion and have right to express it but that doesn't make anyone elses any less valid. If an article doesn't interest me I won't bother reading and I certainly won't comment.
On topic, at least Activision aren't saying 'pay us £8 and you can play the online half of a game if you didn't buy new' or 'pay us (from) £8 and you don't need to rank up to get all the cool stuff that most people have got through their hard efforts' (BF3 class unlocks - £31.99 full unlock set). The maps are entirely optional and at least they put them in separate playlists so you don't get kicked if you don't have map pack. And who else is trialing sub services? Uncharted 3's Fortune Hunter set is complete already and a lot of that was just different skins which many of us already bought for U2 but people don't complain half as much about that even though there's still an online pass required aswell
