The original Deus Ex looks set to arrive on PlayStation 3 imminently, if a recently filed PEGI rating is to be believed.

The European age ratings body lists the game to release on PlayStation 3, with an age-rating of 16. It’s not specifically mentioned, but it is likely that it will be a PSN release of the PlayStation 2 port of the original game, called Deus Ex: The Conspiracy.

Widely regarded as a classic, Deus Ex follows agent JC Denton through a dystopian 2052. We’ll bring more info when the game is officially announced.

I was hoping for a remake of this using a similar system, if not the same system, as Human Revolution. That would be schweet.

#4 I'd like that very much, I love both games but Deus Ex doesn't really feel like the same universe as Human Revolution (even with the graphics mod)

@2

There are 2 types of downloadable games on XBL.

Xbox Live Arcade Games and Games on Demand Games.

Xbox Live Arcade Games have certain rules, including less achievements (trophies by comparison) and an overall lower gamerscore. And I think by comparison (for multi platform releases) no platinum on PS3?

Games on Demand Games however follow retail release rules, and can have as few or as many achievements as retail lists allow, with the 1000 gamerscore total, which would equala platinum trophy I think.

Perfect examples of GoD games would be...

Resident Evil 4HD - 12 achievements,1000G
Resident Evil Code Veronica X Director's Cut HD - 12 achievements,1000G
Crysis - 40 achievements,1000G

Now I'm unaware if any of these 3 games have platinum trophies on the ps3,but I just realized since this was certified for ps3 only, this whole post is moot.

Oh well,at least maybe it'll enlighten possible future updates for others.

PEGI 16? Realistic violence? Really even on the PC the graphics wereen't so great that the violence seemed realistic. Maybe at the time but certainly not now, unless this is gonna be a HD version?

IF it was i'd buy Deus Ex even if it didn't have a plat!

i'd rather see the PC version ported into PS3 since the environments weren't chopped up like in the PS2 version, but for a chance to trophy up on Deus Ex, either one would be cool. :D

@11 Well we in europe like to have high age ratings and then just ignore them. At least here in sweden.
