WOW , people just don't read anymore. It says NEW IP. That means a completly new game. Not a sequel to an exsiting franchise.
Anyway , I like DICE as a Dev. Can't wait to see what all this is about. |

I dont think people know what "New IP" means these days.In New IP topics I see tons of people asking what an IP is.
And now my 2 cents.
Anything from DICE isnt a good thing,they have no idea what they are at,but EA can throw enough cash anywhere to make it seem like they are.Their games are bad and their engines are bad. |

@10 DICE games are bad and their engines are bad? O.o Are you on planet Earth?
As for those still complaining about input lag, it's fixed. If you're still complaining, it's likely your TV, not the game. |

I though Mirrors Edge was crap.
Lets hope its just something totally different to all these shooters on the market, too many of them lets have a whole new fresh game what makes you think wow why hasn't anyone though of this before. |

A new IP is a new IP; there is nothing more to it.
And, DICE games and engines are crap? I guess you haven't seen the magic that is Frostibe 2 yet. |

@10 DICE games crap? Poorly tested at times yes, but not crap. Frostbite 2 is probably one of the best gaming engines ever created too. The amount of optimization and potential with that engine is amazing. I'm surprised it even runs on current generation consoles at all.
I'm thinking this new IP will likely be first person, since that is DICE's strong suit, but hopefully its not just another shooter though. |

If I get low input lag in BC2 and I get a noticeable input lag in BF3, does that mean BF3 adjusts my TV settings? That's the only scenario I can make with your "it's likely your TV" conclusion. |

@20 the two best engines are made by crytek and id and even though FB2 is good its far down the food chain when compared to the work of those two companies

@22 Id? are you serious? RAGE and Borderlands were the only games they made this past while unless you include that attempt which was Wolfenstein and Borderlands is a fence sitter because you either love it or hate it.
@11 how can you say anything if you haven't played anything from DICE except Mirrors Edge? perhaps you should go buy another game and play it rather than 'guess'?
I personally would love to see what their new IP after the experience Battlefield3 gave it is due to hit the right buttons. There are far too many cry babies on here about lag (which i thought was sorted out now?), anyways, deal with it. |

@23 the ID technology is sourced out to many different companies and a lot of their software is too powerful to be used by hardware of this generation
and also borderlands and the new wolfenstein weren't even made by Id |
