The PlayStation Plus goodies for May have been announced and, as ever, there's a whole bunch of free and discounted stuff up for grabs, including Ronimo Games and DTP Entertainment’s awesome-looking Awesomenauts.

A six-player, co-operative shooter with a quirky sense of humour, Awesomenauts will be made available to all EU PS Plus subs absolutely free of charge from May 2nd. In addition to this, you can also grab no less than eight titles from the TikGames and Creat Studios catalogue. Those are free for the next two months. You can't argue with that.

Elsewhere, PS2 Classic Max Payne will also be released free of charge, allowing you to get your slow-mo on in advance of the threequel's release in the middle of next month. Plus there's more deals, discounts and demos than you can shake a controller at.
