PixelJunk 4am is coming to the PlayStation Network next month, delivering a new music visualiser that also enables you to express musical freedom using PlayStation Move. There'll be different live events to play with different mixes of songs, visualisers and moods to go with each. Each song has 4 instruments to play with too, meaning you can manipulate the bass, drum, rhythm and synth. PixelJunk 4am Lead Designer, Rowan Parker listed some of the numbers associated with the visualiser. "Each track then has 4 different looping samples and four one-shot sounds in space around you that you can use. All of the loops and samples are different for each song as well, meaning events can have up to (4 loops + 4 one-shots) x 4 tracks x 5 songs = 160 different sound samples to pull from and mix however you like." There also effects that you can apply and you can have up to 16 different effects running on your songs at any one time. Pixel Junk 4am supports two Move controllers too, meaning you can either create music with a friend or dual-wield to create even more intricate tunes. Alternatively, you can just use PixelJunk 4am as a music visualiser and nothing more if you prefer. PixelJunk 4am will be heading to PSN on May 15th with a beta set to commence on May 1st, running for the two weeks leading up to the full release. Check out the trailer below.
