Give me 3 mins or less, and a beta/mp demo and I'll consider.
...and no dedication repeats, I loved 2's mp except for the lack of real support from the dev's, the first wasn't bad but would of been better in it's day...this has to combine all the elements of the first 2, hard hitting action but with a free focus on how to do objectives...
And ethier scrap the mo if they can't do it right (I heard it was crytek uk who done it who were once free radical...feel free to correct with a source please, as much as I liked time splinters this needed work) or no time based trophies! |

| Oh and by no support the patches for most of their bugs never did the intended job, nearly went deaf from the menu music going up and down... |

| This is a definite preorder for me. I loved the first one for it's freedom, loved the second one for the story and the intense MP and I'm hoping this is going to be a fantastic mix of both. IMO the only thing which has spoiled number 2 is that the online trophies are now nigh-on unobtainable without a boosting party... anybody wanna boost tonight? |

@6 What was wrong with the MP? Not being funny but I thought it was ok, yeah the lobby music volume was "a bit off" (translation: potential lawsuit due to loss of hearing) and sometimes the game was a little laggy because the lack of players meant the matchmaking had to be spread across the globe instead of locally, but that only bothered me a few times.
As I said I'm not trying to be funny, just want to know why other people hated it. |

I think, ultimately, the biggest reason I hated it was the confinement of maps. I have never been a fan of small maps. The lobby music was horrible, total concur! As an overall experience, the MP was lacking for me and grew boring quickly. It seemed that nothing was balance properly and there was some weird nonsense going on when I played. Often I would be in a lobby with people, good skill levels, but there was always one person that could not be touched. You have K/D's on an even scale and then some insane K/D nonsense. I don't claim to be great at FPS/MP, but I know BS when I see it happen regular like that. Maybe I didn't given it even time, but it just was not drawing me in.
Appreciate the modesty too, most of the time you say you hate something and people jump crazy on ya.
I am hoping though, that I like the MP in the third. Loved the SP though, buggy or no. |

| Please don't think of me as a fanboy, but Crysis should be on PC only. Crysis 2 was terrible IMO because it had to be "toned down" for consoles. |

@2 Really? Sure it wasn't a perfect game, but shit, Crysis 2 was a pretty good game multiplayer and all. And trophies/achievements should always be one of the last things devs do in a game. Big deal if one didn't work. The game itself should be more important to a gamer than some meaningless online trophy.
So it's the forests that we praised in Crysis and the beautiful urban environment from Crysis 2 mashed together into Crysis 3? Crysis 2 is only over a year old, hopefully they aren't rushing a sequel. |
