I still have yet to play the first Sniper, but actually have it on loan from a friend as of a few days ago :) (Maybe ill get time at the weekend xD)
Sniper Elite V2 was pretty rubbish imo, only played the demo mind you....
So, from the screens above, and what I have seen else where.. I am really look forward to Sniper 2 lol.
It does look pretty cool, and Cryengine 3 is rather insane! :D
Thus its a clear winner of the two! |

| I enjoyed the first game but it did have it's fair share of problems. From what I saw of the demos they've been showing for Ghost Warrior 2, it doesn't look vastly different and after playing the Sniper Elite V2 demo and loving it, my money on day one is going to 505 games/Rebellion. The X-ray killcams are just too satisfying. |

| V2 will get my money. I did like ghost warrior except the multiplayer (competative), where as V2 is coop, much more fun and suited imho. |

| I'm a little confused, are sniper ghost , sniper elite and sniper 2 all part of the same series or is elite something completely different? i found elite demo fantistic so if the others are the same then im in their like a... Shot (get it) |

I've heard nothing good about Ghost Warrior and a lot of people talking about poor level design and retarded AI, so this is going nowhere near any preorder list of mine. The Sniper Elite V2 demo was brilliant, not graphically amazing but definitely a thinking-man's shooter and I'll definitely enjoy the coop more than some contrived competitive "everyone's a sniper" quick-scoping mess. However my mind's open, if Ghost Warrior 2 is good I'll definitely give it a look.
I thought my "2 for 1" killcam was impressive, then I saw my mate blow somebody's plums clean off! |

@6 No offence, but you speak about retarded AI in ghost Warrior (from what you have heard - I've heard the same mind you :P)... But the AI was abysmal in Elite... Plus sniping is about stealth... The demo showcased was linear and essentially had zero elements of a stealth game.
Yes the animations were cool... But that's about it for me. |

| @4, there are two series. Sniper Ghost Warrior, and Sniper Elite. This year a sequel is coming out for both of them; Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and Sniper Elite V2. Hope that clears it up for you. |

| Kinda, are they from the same devs or two different games, the look the same to me, i liked sniper elite but dont want to get ghost warrier if its a tottally different game as chances are it will be poo, thanks though |

| I hope they improve upon the original. Ghost warrior had a lot of problems, AI was poor, some of the objectives of the missions were ridiculous, climbing was awful. At some points I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, is the bit at the end where your walking in slow motion with your mates with an explosion in the background a joke or was it supposed to be cool? That said I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and that's what games are about, enjoyment. |

| I didn't like the V2 demo at all. To me, Sniping is about stealth and precision, even during Battlefield and COD, I try to snipe with stealth. V2 had good sniping but it wasn't realistic enough, maybe because it was third person? This game seems like its more focused on stealth, hiding and sniping. |
