Dead Space 3 Listed For Pre-Order On Retail Site

The case for Dead Space 3 continues to mount, as a listing for the game has now been spotted on a South African games retailer's website, where pre-orders are currently being taken for the unannounced sequel.

Of course, with Dead Space 3 yet to be announced or even slightly hinted at by EA, it's entirely possible that the listing on BT Games could be a simple error. Or as IGN notes, it could actually prove to be as reliable as the retailer's previous outing of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode and the Jak & Daxter HD Collection.

Past Dead Space 3 rumours have suggested that Isaac will return and be haunted by his wise-cracking, sarcastic shadow, while relatively recent job listings hint at the possibility of another Dead Space game on the horizon. Is an announcement for Dead Space 3 imminent? It certainly could be, but as ever, we'll remain cautiously sceptical until something official surfaces.

	ill never understand why something like this could be considered news, its pretty much 100% we'll get a new dead space eventually.

	hopefully its true i love the 1st and 2nd game. and i hope the rumors of it being a FPS are false.

	Day one buy for me I love the deadspace series. Played at night with no one in, now thats an experience.

	Love this series never been scared of playing a game however this one did it for me lol. I just hope dead space 3 sticks to its roots and doesn't start changing the enemys like resident evil have or the gameplay.

	Never played the second one, might pick it up at some point though as I loved the first. The only game to ever actually scare me.

	This is probably true. It wouldnt be a suprise to see Dead Space 3. Not sure i would want it tho. Dead Space 2 went a bit to far with the action, and took alot of the horror that made Dead Space 1 awesome away. So im willing to bet this will be a full out shooter.

	I'm still not sure about the idea of there being a third game as the ending of number 2 was pretty final.

	If this is true which I really hope it is please please please EA do NOT turn it into a first person shooter by all means make another side game that's in FPS but not dead space 3 that would just ruin it.

	I am definitely looking forward to dead space 3. Only 3 game titles out there have freaked me out (that I play) and they are Silent Hill, Doom 3 and Dead Space. Fatal frame was freaky but I didn't like the game.

	Might just announce Dead Space 10 right now, oh wait it wouldnt be called that, Dead Space The Next Generations Dairy Cow 3 would be more like it.

	I don't know why everyone is so against it being an FPS. Other sci-fi/horror games like BioShock and AvP have proven that FPS horror is much more scary than TPS. In my opinion anyway.

	@15 There are a lot, but the biggest problem is with 'modern warfare' FPS, like CoD, Battlefield, Medal of Honor, Homefront etc. They're too similar. Sci-fi/horror FPS have the freedom to change things (like enemies and weapons) enough to make them more interesting. Like Killzone, Halo and Resistance.

	To be honest Dead Space isnt really that scary either. I get as scared as i do from playing any zombie game and after the first 30 minutes of the first one it wore off. I get scared really easy btw. Its more scarier than your average game but not over the top. Still a great game though, just played the first so i have to play the second first.

	@17 Is your definition of 'scary' monsters jumping out of vents to make you jump? A bit simple really. That's what Dead Space does and it is not scary at all. It certainly gets boring after the first two chapters (yawn at ten more after that). BioShock scares you in a psychological creepy way. The dancing splicers, the audio diaries etc. With AvP I was thinking of the Alien sensor when you play as a Marine.

	Yupp. BioShock 1 had pretty scary sections. BioShock 2 not so much, though. The problem with FPS is that people seem to have so limited imagination. You can do much more with it than just your regular action shooter. Heck, it doesn't even have to be a shooter. I wouldn't have anything against an interesting FPS take on Dead Space, (well, the Wii game was a railshooter and I liked it) though I can understand people who want a series to stick to its roots in that regard.

	Everyone's own idea of whats scary could be debated all day long... I'm excited for Dead Space 3 and I hope it remains as it should, in the third person.

	We all know a third game will be made. I know that they are smart enough to not make it a FPS. Maybe thats for a spin-off
