| As much as I'm excited for this, I still don't understand why it's $14.99 when it's not even that big of a game. I'm still buying it, but I probably won't be the only one who questions this. I think selling it between $4.99 and $9.99 is a reasonable price. |

This is episodic gaming done wrong. Episode 1 came out in October 2010! A year and a half ago! And that was $15 if I remember right. And now, after so much waiting, episode 2 is also $15? So that's $30 so far. Is episode 3 going to come out in October 2013 and cost ANOTHER $15?
TellTale Games still seems to be the only company who knows how to do episodic gaming releases correctly. You pay one fixed price (usually $30 or $35) and that gets you anywhere from 4-6 episodes depending on the game. And the episodes come out MONTHLY! Not a year and a half between each one. |

There's going to be no Episode III, SEGA confirmed that. So, this is it.
That said, I'll be waiting for a price drop or bundle with Episode I. I missed it when it went on sale earlier last year, but $15 for a downloadable game, unless its of Trine quality or as content filled as Stranger's Wrath, is too rich for my blood.
If Sonic 4: Episode I/II, or more recent games like I Am Alive were $6-10 bucks, it would be a no brainer to buy and download. But $15 is ridiculous. |
