Ubisoft has finally lifted the lid on the long-awaited Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta, which is set to kick off later in the month for two weeks, offering support for up to 12 players with three classes across two multiplayer modes on the Mill and Pipeline maps pictured below. There's Conflict mode, consisting of one 15-minute round of completing objectives to earn more points than the opposing team, and the 10- minute long Saboteur mode, in which both teams must clamour for a bomb at the centre of the map that needs to be armed and detonated at the opposing team's base. What's more, Ubisoft has also announced a free companion service for Ghost Recon, called Ghost Recon Network, which is accessible from tablets, smartphones and web browsers, with stat-tracking, GunSmith mobile for customising weapons on the go and more. There'll be rewards and other stuff as part of Ghost Recon Network, as you can see in the helpful illustration at the foot of the page. The Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta will be getting underway on PS3 from April 19th and will be running until May 2nd. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier itself will be launching on May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe, with Ghost Recon Network going live on the same date. ![]() ![]() ![]() | |
