| I don't know about this game. I like the idea but smash bros. works because the fights are atleast able to be imagined. I guess it depends on how it handles. Like how would Nathan Drake fight Sly Cooper or Jak vs. Kratos. I don't know, i guess I'll have to await more details, however I don't think this game can be better than smash bros. Non Ps3 exclusive characters like Ezio, Solid Snake, Dante.. etc. would be nice though, idea make a game for both systems with those characters in it. That would be awesome. |

I really hopes it plays like the old Power Stone games.
That'd be fantastic.
That and I hope it has a distinctive style - Seeing Drake looking all HD next to Sly being all cell-shaded is going to look rather jarring.
I'm hyped regardless. |

And to everyone else, graphics, gore and maturity levels don't make a game, seriously smash bros was an easy pick up and play where you can smash pikachu upside the head, and as my name suggest, yes I am a nintendo owner, and loyal to the games...not so much the console since im here...
Anyway, I don't expect gore seeing the mix of characters, but they'll have to try something special here, you can't copy smash bros without backlash from fellow nintendo/sony players...
I wish the game the best of luck, if it ends up a clone of smash bros...guess I'll take the advantage and bring my old skills over XD |

#10 Ha. Would be great if Snake was added to this game as well. Would be even better if he ended up fairly top tier. Was second behind Metaknight in Brawl last time I checked.
Will be picking this up. Love crossovers and love fighters. Was a pretty big Smash fan in the past too, and was kind of disappointed when Brawl's online blew. Seriously, even for a Wii game it was amazingly terrible.
Also none of the other characters matter since we have PaRappa. That's all I needed to hear. |

| @22 I have a Nintendo 64 as well and love it. Same goes for any Nintendo system. I'm also a Playstation fan, of course. I just feel that a game like this would be more suited to a proper fighting game than "dolls knocking each other off the screen". Anyone who's played the original Smash Bros. knows what I'm talking about when I say "dolls". Can you really see characters like Kratos in a kid-friendly game? I'd say that's why only the Sly, Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter series were used in that Playstation Move Heroes game. The game doesn't need blood or heads/limbs being ripped off, just be more of a proper fighting game to fit the style Playstation fans are used to and to prevent direct cloning of Smash Bros. |

The thing is now is as perfect a time as ever but I think PS All Stars should have been aimed to coincide with the Playstation 15th anniversery that happened recently. For Nintendo Smash Bros played out more like an anniversery video showing the best of Nintendo and it'd be great if Sony can do the same. If they want this to work it should do the same and yeah that's just cheap but who's to say Nintendo should be the only people who are allowed to have this idea?
If Sony could get Crash and Spyro back it'd work out just as great. I think Sony has enough variation to make a game like this work but I think certain characters people might want would have to be left out. Maybe Nathen Drake would work in a weird sense (like how Solid Snake worked for Brawl) but I'm afraid it might make him seem less original when placed alongside the likes of Crash Bandicoot. |
