| I guess Zipper won't be one of the SCE first party developers to be getting a PS Know dev unit. I wasn't ever a SOCOM fan anyway, but I do feel sorry for all of their die-hard fans. |

Wow I really hope they still make socom games or bring back the ps2 version on the network, They were the best, Be even better if they add trophies, I hope more SOCOM games are made but they let to much time come in-between socoms so you have to put one out every 2 years or so |

| Give SOCOM to Guerilla games im sure they would do it justice and i would buy day 1! Sad to hear a studio close down but it makes sense in this case as it wasnt doing so good! hopefully Sony can move some of the employees to another studio! |

| I'm guessing SOCOM is probably going to end up in Slant Six's hands, considering they've done the portable ones at least. |

| Its a shame that Zips couldn't be a 1st party like Sucker Punch, Insomniac, and Gorilla. Havent played SOCOM, but could of done a little better with MAG. |

Glad to see the games will still be supported. If this was EA they would have just shut the servers aswell. |

very sad to hear, i grew up with Zipper's socom games on the ps2 (1 and 2 were my faves by far), and MAG is the most underrated FPS on the PS3 IMO. socom 4, however, was a complete disaster, but i'll always be thankful to Zipper for all those hours i wasted in my younger days playing S2 until the sun came up. i blame Seth Luisi, but to be honest the decline started when David Sears left way back when. good luck to all the ex-zip employees, i hope you all land on your feet somewhere. |
