Yesterday, Icelandic developers CCP gave a presentation detailing Dust 514, revealing some gameplay footage and a few tasty bits of info along the way. Dust 514 is the upcoming PlayStation 3 shooter that ties-in with PC MMO, EVE Online. During the presentation CCP announced information pertaining to the game’s beta. According to the developer, there will be several waves of invites, starting off small in April but eventually opening up - possibly to everyone - around E3 time this June. In the video below you’ll be able to watch the presentation in full. It kicks off with some gameplay at around the 4:45 mark. The highlight, however, is the example of one of the ways that Dust 514 is integrated with EVE Online. While down on the Dust 514 players can assign targets for EVE players to nuke from orbit. Nice.
