Normally, the tools of a handyman are his hammer, a saw, maybe a drill... But in BioShock Infinite, the Handyman is so-called because of his giant grasping mitts, and his tools are whatever he can pick up and throw at you, be it an object or an AI friend or foe. Described in this new trailer as "a tragic figure" by Creative Director, Ken Levine, the Handyman is a mechanical part-man/part-machine abomination, with its heart pumping away in a little portal set into the centre of its chest. How they came to be is something you'll find out during your journey through Columbia as Booker DeWitt, while protecting Elizabeth from the Songbird. To find out a little bit more about the hulking and surprisingly agile Handyman, check out the new BioShock Infinite Heavy Hitters trailer below, and the new Handyman screenshot. BioShock Infinite is out on October 16th in North America and October 19th in Europe. ![]() | |
