Risen 2: Dark Waters Keelhauled into May Release

Risen 2: Dark Waters

Risen 2: Dark Waters has apparently been delayed a month according to a report on YouGamers, which now tags Piranha Bytes' pirate-flavoured RPG for May.

The game had been previously dated for April 24th in North America and April 27th in Europe, but Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes have given no reason for the supposed delay, which has yet to be confirmed.

However, a delay for additional visual polish would make a lot of sense, as when we went hands-on with Risen 2 last month, it was looking rather rough around the edges. You can read our hands-on Risen 2: Dark Waters preview here. It'll now be walking the plank on May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe, if the report proves to be true.

	Well I guess the delay is good in the sense that they can improve the visuals but this game is going to have to wait now with max payne and ghost recon coming out in May.

	Never a good sign for a lower budget game. I still hope it's above average. Common, there's no way it's going to be good so I've been hoping for above avg.
