| They probably did it on the weekend to get it up before Mass Effect 3 hits the shelves on the 6th. I don't know why the initial delay but that's probably why they started it on the weekend rather than delaying it further. |

from 3pm-6am(mon) my time in the eastern timezone. hmmm gd i wont have to worry about my PSN friends while i watch nascar.
I believe the people who only ***** about the PSN being down are people who are addicted to Call of Duty or Battlefield 3 online multiplayer or even home. yes i admit im addicted to home but im gonna take this down time as a chance to catch up on my games. i may even take a week offline to do so.
speaking of games i find funny that people are saying good let get it over with before mass effect 3 comes out *cough #11 *cough, cough*. Sure Mass Effect 3 does have multiplayer but i could careless about that. If i decide to get ME3 day one i am only getting for story mode to me the mass effect series join a list of game series that were ruined by online multiplay. Assassin Creed series, the Bioshock series & the Uncharted series. all of thoughs series were better without multiplayer holding theme back. |

| I wish Sony would update how the trophy list is displayed. My list, like alot of yours I'm sure, is getting rather long. Maybe do something like this site does and hide games that are 100%, or put them in a sub-folder. |

I love it how some of you use the "I wonder what you were doing when we have no online play" saying. How about you use your brain a little more, pal? Have of the gamers now aren't from the early 90's, I am, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE is. Some people just got into gaming when online came into play [PS3/Xbox 360/Wii]. People are gonna complain, get off your high horse and quit judging people for complaining. There's no reason this maintenance should be this long. A whole day to make sure people can't hack the PS3? While the other down times are much shorter than this? Yeah, give me a break.
By the way, give me 40 thumbs down, I don't care I'm speaking the truth. |

| @25 Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, and Mass Effect 3 were not ruined by multiplayer. It was put in as an option for different gamers. The games are still solid and fun and have good story lines. Furthermore, the multiplayer is not mandatory for you to enjoy a game, so just don't play it. |
