This latest video for dtp and Ronimo Games' Awesomenauts is all about the MOBA, apparently. That's a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, don'tcha know? That's what Awesomenauts is offering too, with it's three-way split screen enabling three people to play simultaneously in local multiplayer. You can form up two teams of three in 2-player split screen, or have three players banding together, splitting the screen into three sections, with the fourth accommodating a mini-map. There's also an offline practice arena where you and your friends can sharpen your skills against AI bots before taking on the galaxy in the year 3587. If local multiplayer isn't your bag, there's also 6-player online modes, meaning you can form a team comprised of all six of Awesomenauts' 80s cartoon-inspired characters. Awesomenauts is out in a few weeks time on the PlayStation Network. A specific date and price have yet to be confirmed. Check out the new split screen trailer below. | |
