Demon's Souls European Release Given the Special Edition Treatment

Following yesterday's immensely welcome news that Demon's Souls will finally be making its way to European shores, publisher Namco Bandai has announced it'll be shipping a rather tasty Special Edition of the game.

Dubbed the Demon's Souls 'Black Phantom Edition', the package bundles the game with the game's soundtrack on CD, an artbook and best of all, a strategy guide for the tough, but always compelling dungeon-crawling hack 'n slasher.

Namco Bandai has also confirmed a June 25th release date, giving you ample time to brace yourself for a tough but rewarding ride.

It is simply a repackaged US Deluxe Edition, but awesome, nonetheless.

This was arguably my most favorite game of recent memory. It was exciting, challenging, and most of all rewarding. It took me 95hrs to get my platinum (all by myself!), but it was worth every second I put into it! I hope that by releasing this game to a greater audience, it will garner enough attention to warrant a second installment; well heres hoping anyway!

I just bought the Collector's Edition of Demon's Soul on Wednesday. Had a hard time tracking one down but it's finally at home. Might give it a run this weekend.

Still need to finish NG+, one of the bosses is giving me some trouble though.
