Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition Confirmed For Europe

Capcom has confirmed that the Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition will be making its way over to Europe, having previously announced its availability in North America back in October 2011. Last week, Capcom broke the news on its Capcom-Unity blog, confirming the special edition for selected retailers.

Bundled with a build-it-yourself arcade cabinet piggy bank, an exclusive prequel comic book by UDON and 45 Gems to give your fighter a kickstart, the Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition is available to pre-order now from GAME, Gamestation, Play.com, The Hut, ShopTo.net, Amazon.co.uk and select independent retailers.

Check out the contents of the Street Fighter X Tekken Special Edition below, which is currently retailing for pre-order at £49.99. Street Fighter X Tekken will be hitting stores on March 6th in North America and March 9th in Europe.

Too bad most of the gems got given away for free last wednesday on the Store by a mistake! :P Still a pretty nifty Special Edition.

Love the small print....
This is a collectible and is not a playable arcade cabinet.
Looks sweet.
Noticed some similar small cardboard arcade cabinets on ebay recently.
My days of getting special editions on day 1 are over though. £49.99 on release and 2 months later = £19.99 or less.
Think I will wait for the super street fighter x tekken turbo championship edition part 3 and a half.

i'd be more interested if capcom released the resident evil collectors editions in the EU instead of everywhere except the EU

Nah Capcom lost my $$$ for fighting games when they release 3 versions of the same game. Capcom " RE 6 better be exactly like RE 4, cause RE 5 sucked major ass"!

@9, that's your opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed RE5, although I will admit RE4 was frickin awesome(on the gamecube, the PS2 was not even in the same league). Got my Special Edition version of Streetfighter X Tekken pre-ordered through Play.Com, only £42.99!!!

RE4 was stupid it didn't even have zombies that doesn't make sense a resident evil without zombies is like a street fighter game without DP's
