Activision and Radical Entertainment have lifted the lid on the Prototype 2: Blackwatch Collector's Edition, which comes bundled with a whole host of exclusive content including the 55 pieces of DLC promised from the RADNET Edition of the game, and a bunch of other gubbins.

In terms of additional DLC, there'll be a free download code for the first add-on entitled 'Colossal Mayhem', due to release in May, alongside the aforementioned RADNET stuff. If it's physical items you're after though, there's the game's soundtrack on CD and a hardcover art book in the box, which will set you back an MSRP of $79.99.

Here's the complete list of Prototype 2: Blackwatch Collector's Edition content:

  • Prototype 2 RADNET Edition Content
  • Free Prototype 2 DLC Pack #1 — Colossal Mayhem
  • Official Prototype 2 Soundtrack CD
  • Exclusive Prototype 2 Hardbound Art Book
  • Dark Horse Digital Comic "Prototype: The Labrinth"
  • 20% Discount Voucher at Prototype Merchandise Store

Prototype 2 is due out on April 24th, 2012. Check out a video of the Prototype 2: Blackwatch Collector's Edition below.

Activision, really? For the fans? or for the money?
Im not so sure about this Radnet thing sounds awfully similar to another game that promises DLC released over a period of time to make it sound like they are doing you a favour... although I am not at liberty to make a dick out of myself by saying the name of that franchise.

@7: I'll do it then! Saints Row The Thiiiiiiiiird! Fuck you THQ. I remember when you used to get new outfits and weapons in Saints Row 1 and 2 by PLAYING THE GAME AND UNLOCKING THEM. Now you just want us to pay for them.

At least this RADNET thing sounds like all the content will be free or be a one time cost for the whole slew of content, unlike SRTT which wants you to drop $2 or $3 on every stinking pack they toss out.

@7 ....actually I meant Call of Duty, which is also made by Activision and they have COD: ELITE where you get "FREE" DLC for Modern Warfare 3 over a set number of months (the price is actually included in the subscription fee and has been classed as one of the biggest rip offs this generation) but I cant see how Radnet is any different.... Saints Row LOL paying for costumes sounds more like Capcoms Marvel vs Capcom buying costumes and characters etc but I did find it funny that you were in such a rush to say the name of the franchise for me you even fucked up the number at the start and referred to your own comment rather than mine LOL ace
