SEGA has shot us in the face with a new Binary Domain trailer today, showing off the game's multiplayer modes, which pits the opposing forces of the Government and the Resistance against one another on the robot-strewn battlefields of the year 2080.

Taking the action from the city to the slums, Binary Domain includes such staple multiplayer modes as Demolition, Data Capture, Team Deathmatch, Domain Control, Team Survival, Operation and Invasion that allow you to go free for all or play by the rules, according to the trailer.

The best weapon is being human, apparently. Check out the video for a look at Binary Domain's multiplayer, then look out for the game when it launches on February 24th in Europe and February 28th in North America.

The multiplayer reminded me of a more serious Metal Gear Online in a small way(and I don't mean that in a bad way). Least I'm happy enough the mutliplayer looks better than I was thinking. More interested in the story though, so I'll be buying this either way.

Looking good, hopefully should be better than lost planet 2 mp. This and Armoured Core V are the only online mp games I'm interested in, but I hate online trophies with a REVENGENCE!
