Syphon Filter 4 and God of War IV to be Unveiled Next Month?

This month's Play magazine is carrying rumours that both Syphon Filter 4 and God of War IV are set to be announced, according to Sillegamer.

There have been other God of War IV rumours in recent weeks, with talk of co-operative multiplayer coming to the series for the first time. According to this latest gossip, the game will be unveiled next month.

Also preparing for a February unveiling is Syphon Filter 4. "Developed by SCE London Studio, it will see a return to the world of shooting, espionage and Gabe Logan's superb name," says the mag.

While it was once believed that Sony Bend, developers of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, were working on the PS3 title, but it is now believed that the studio are fosucsing their efforts on a Vita Syphon Filter game instead.

	I never played any of the Syphon Filter games before, but definitely willing to give them a chance. As for God of War IV, Hell yeah and bring it on! I wonder where the story will go since Kratos pretty much destroyed every major god and Mt. Olympus. Maybe a new mythology of a gods is next for Kratos to destroy? David Jaffe originally wanted GOW3 to have Kratos cut Zeus' head off after the first 5 minutes of gameplay and start his quest on killing gods of Norse and Egyptian Mythology, but Stig Asmussen and the rest of the team decided to take, obviously, a different approach and direction with the game.

	I have all three Syphon Filter games for free on PSN+ yet I've never played them. Also never played a God Of War game >.>

	Uh GOW IV was announced more than a month ago to have coop featuring Deimos, doesn't that mean it's practically revealed seeming they leaked info. Eh whatever im happy. Never played Syphon Filter but heard heaps about it.

	I really hope Syphon FIlter 4 goes back to it's roots as the spin-off have been pants and the 3rd one wasn't as good as the other two :(.

	ahh Syphon Filter :) those 3 games was some of my favourites to psx. and the ps2 version, where you had to control a new Agent wasnt that bad either :) I welcome you with open hand Syphon Filter 4 :)

	Their gonna insert kratos into some different mythology to kill all their gods lol. and when was it announced GOW would be multi-player? i saw no such thing

	I loved Syphon Filter back in the day, even bought SF1 off the PS store... didn't get far though, it's aged badly IMO but hey SF4 should be awesome! God of W4R? Looking forward to it, but not as much as SF4.

	I love God of War but a fourth game would be too much! The series pretty much ended with the 3rd game.

	syphon filter was one of the games that brought me to the ps1 in the first place, so will be more than happy to see syphon filter 4 on the ps3! as for a god of war game with co-op multiplayer, i am not getting the idea behind it yet. i just hope they aren't cramming multiplayer into yet another game that doesn't need, solely to keep the franchise alive and suck out more money.

	syphon filter got my own father into video games lmao. He'l go crazy when he hears this. I personally liked them, but omega strain wasnt good in my opinion

	I don't wanna be negative but i got a funny feeling that when people see it they will go oh wow ! and then sometime when the game comes out people will be upset/disappointed like they were with SOCOM 4 and say IT'S NOT THE SAME I'M NOT BUYING !!!!!!!!! meanwhiole it can still be a good /fun game to play ... i bet people will have HIGH EXPECTATIONS and that's what kills everything for them each time.

	Im kinda annoyed how they're milking the series. The drive of the story is to kill practically every Greek God and now it's over. God of War 3 was beautiful and masterful, why not just end it there. If there's a sequel to the game, at least give it the respect (2 both old and new series) of naming it something else. Kratos obviously is no longer a God. I'm not a hater, I'm a super GoW fan. I even made a Kratos rocking chair...but this isn't right. Probably the biggest issue I have is that Santa Monica is no longer making the games. It's like the PSP titles...something just feels lacking. You shouldn't fiddle with another studio's baby. I really hope they try to make something of their own and not a failed imitation of a great series.

	i loved all syphon filters on the older consoles, should be interesting to seer it make the jump, hopefully the trophies won't be your run of the mill, finish this level in this time etc, would expect a form of intel collect tro
