The Writers Guild of America has announced its nominations for this years awards. As ever, alongside writers from a whole heap of different disciplines – from daytime dramas to Hollywood blockbusters – videogames get a look in. This years nominees are Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Batman: Arkham City, Brink, Mortal Kombat and Uncharted 3. Assassin's Creed: Revelations catches the eye most, largely thanks to the huge amount of writers involved with the project. Ubisoft employed no less than nine people to wrestle with the game's labyrinthine narrative. Brink, meanwhile, had just one sole British writer: Edward "Bongoboy" Stern. Good work, Bongoboy! The awards take place on Feb 19 in Los Angeles. The full list of videogame nominees is below.
