Here's a new trailer for the promising Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, detailing the game's skills and crafting systems.

In the vid you'll get to see the weapon crafting, alchemy, mercantile, persuasion, stealth, looting and detection skills among others, all of which allow you to build your character in unique ways. The similarity to the Elder Scrolls series is obvious. No surprise considering that Morrowind and Oblivion's designer Ken Rolston is on board. Still, looks good!

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning releases early next month.

Ohhh yes I'm so pumped for this game, plus Claudia Black's sexy voice is enough to sell you the game. Also how much damn content and systems have they got running in this game, jeez it looks like you can do just about anything!!!

When I see Big Huge as the studio for any game I think Rise of Nations.

I've been holding out to see more about this game, now I think I'm gonna have to preorder it. It looks better with ever video release.

So, it's Skyrim with brighter colors and Claudia Black's sexy voice promoting it?

Looks like WoW in terms of design :
And the crafting looks worse than Skyrim (Which isnt that great either)

Ill stick with Skyrim tbh

Is it me, or is this just EA's answer to Skyrim? Cause... it's just the same. Sure, nearly every RPG is exactly the same, Warrior/Mage/Rogue with skills likes Alchemy, Blacksmith, Engineer, Stealth, Speech, Pickpocket, Lockpicking, Mining, etc... Yeah, anything original about the game, though?

I'm just saying, cause I'm more of a fan of EA's games, such as Dragon Age.. but ever since I've played Warcraft, my opinion is that every RPG is essentially the same... Elves, Humans, Dwarves and other miscellaneous races, with Archery, Swordplay, Magic, Lockpicking, etc. The only difference, besides graphics is whether or not it's online MMORPG or single player RPG. Persuasion/Intimidation has been used a lot, as have others. Kingdoms of Amalur, although looking nice, has nothing -new- to offer, other than its story or your playing a resurrected person of your choice of origin.
