Free Skin Swoops into Batman: Arkham City Tomorrow

There's a new skin coming to Batman: Arkham City tomorrow for free.

The Batman Inc Batsuit skin is a thank you to the fans, according to game's director. Speaking on the Arkham City website, Sefton Hill said, "We have had an amazing release of Batman: Arkham City and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support before, during and after the game's release."

In addition to this, Rocksteady has also revealed a cheat code that allows you to play using an alternate skin without completing the story mode. All you have to do is reach the menu screen after you have selected your save slot, then enter: Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.

When you do this you will hear a little audio cue to tell you that you've inputted correctly. From there you should get the option to select your favourite skin.

	I was really hoping they would release DLC that would expand the city in S.P mode I havent played this game yet think someone has got it for me as a x-mas present, but the idea of a massive city and yet they release challenge rooms which I hated well except predator rooms I liked them.

	Looks really good, and hopefully they'll patch in some more costumes for the DLC characters, too. Nightwing could use another one, to start to match all 9 of the amazing Batman ones.

	@ 5 : The answer is written in the last sentence. The cheat gives you the ability to choose the costume you want Batman to wear, that's it. ;)

	I don't get it. I've entered the code and I'm trying to start a new game with some other skins and I can't. Pointless cheat?

	I haven't entered a up, down, left, right cheat in since the days of Vice City! Still remember that health cheat off by heart.

	dear every developer ever: we dont want skins 2 months after release. we want more story driven content. skins should not be dlc, they should be unlocked during gameplay. how bout as a reward for completing those challenge rooms youre so fond of making?

	Nice, though I'm of the ilk that feels like skins should be unlocked in game or added as free DLC, especially when they add nothing to the gameplay like the Batman pack last week did - kinda like the themes & avatars Sony give regularly - add nothing to games so not for me :) But I'd like to know if the cheat locks trophies, got the beyond skin but haven't used it as I'm not that far into the game yet, but I'll back up my save before next session, I'll finish at least 1 story mission & 1 side mission within half an hour so I can check wether they pop or not if I use it

	#8 - lrn2read, content is available from tomorrow and anyways, alternative skins can only be used in New Game + (and the challenge maps, obviously).

	@ 15 Actually the Batman skin is already out for 360 so you might want to check the PSN store.
