I was hold in it until I plat Dark Souls I giess I need to plat Demon Souls I guess I've less than 2 weeks to plat it ^_^
do I need to be online to play on the easier difficult ? |

| @2 big difference mate, especially for the first playthrough, on later playthroughs it wont matter so much as you alrdy know where everything is and the easiest way to kill things, but doesnt this indirectly screw anyone from the plat in that time? when I got the plat the getting white tendancy was very simple just kill a few bosses and always die in the nexus, but getting black was a pain in the ass, 7 deaths as a human in 5 different worlds all for a few items each, and black tendancy is required for the plat as you need to collect all items, also blacker tendancy gives better drop rates, I had to do an extra playthrough as far as 4-3 to get those stupid lizards to drop the item I needed to make last item for plat and that was with the sword of searching and black tendancy, seems to me that this isnt that great a thing lol |

| thats true but thats just turning off the easy option, it just seems theres not really a huge bonus to using this >.< lol although when i think of it its a double edged sword, if anyone done the PBWT events already and need the PWWT tendancies then this is a major bonus, typical demons souls, gotta think long and hard before ya do anything haha |

@2 To answer your question:
The effects of PWWT:
Decreases enemy HP, attack and defence power
Enemies drop fewer upgrade stones
Enemies drop more healing items.
Attack power is increased in Soul Form. Increases 10% at White, and 20% at Pure White. Stacks with Character Tendency

@5 Yes you have to be online in order for PWWT to have any effect on your gameplay.
PWWT stands for "Pure White World Tendency" just in case anyone doesn't know. I hope that helps. |

| Pure White World Tendency. Great news for people that need trophies for this game because you need PWWT to collect several weapons needed for the "collected all weapons" trophy. Lucky for you guys. |

Do all these people know anything about demons souls? Look at your trophy list does it say anywhere that trophies are required to be online ? No! And that is because online is NOT needed to platinum this game. The only difference is without online, shifting WT can be a bitch because you pretty much talking about a new game before you can get back to any given tendancy.
So stop crying about not getting your plats because the only thing stopping you getting them is the game not the servers |

@8 lol Why would changing YOUR PS3's internal clock have anything to do the information the server sends your game?
This is cool as when I was playing it I knew that they occasionally did world tendancy changes for halloween and valentines etc, but it never happened when I was playing it. But yeah, as already mentioned you need to get both Pure White AND Pure Black world tendancy during a playthrough for platinum as both have different areas, items, characters etc that only appear in a specific tendancy. So this will maybe help you progress further if it's your first playthrough as enemies are a bit easier, but overall it doesn't help you for the platinum much. In fact it'd we wise to play offline to make sure your world tendancies don't get affected by the server when doing all the stuff that needs to be done.
But I'm very pleased to hear the servers are continuing for a while longer as I thought they shut down ages ago. I love this game and Dark Souls just as much as each other, I must try create a new character sometime for Demon's before the servers are really shut down. |

| This is nice of them but, it's not really needed. Once you get used to the combat this is not a hard game at all. There are a few challenging bits but nothing so bad that you need them to make the game easier. |

| Awesome game, but they should change the platinum name to something like "Nerfed for noobs" (if someone gets the platinum for this reason) hehehehe. I doubt it makes alot of difference anyways as it seems it only in boletaria it's being nerfed in. Wait and see. |

WWT ... not much of a difference as far as gettign the Platinum is concerned. Platinuming this game is far beyond simply playing through it or "beating" it. Easier enemies won't help you much towards Platinum and WWT actually gives you worse drop rates.
That's why 19's suggestion doesn't make much sense, though it seems to have been a joke anyways. You will have to get the game to WWT at some point in order to get everything. (Maybe it's possible to skip it by having another player give you items?) |

Its a shame Sony dont buy up the game server of this and keep it running its been such a sleeper hit that the sequel has even sold well heck sony should invest in this game period. I mean I have never played it but I love when it when 3rd party games manage to do well but because this is such a good seller Sony should at least invest in the dev team a little.
Not buy it out I am all for more dev studios and I hate corp take overs since the 90's theres hardly no one left, but 3rd party investment is what I would like to see more. |

| Atlus does this every year on holidays. Pure White has horrid drop rates though, so if you are farming items you should just go offline and turn your world Pure Black for that. |
