IMO MW3 is doing well, IW are reacting quite quickly to balancing and lag issues whilst still making the promised developments. It's just a pity Beachhead don't seem to care much for their end of the bargain, over a month since Elite was launched and apart from fixing the access issues nothing seems to be improving. I can't stand Kotick but I think he need to start firing people over the Elite cock-up.
@nintendo64X IW didn't learn over the MW2 boosting fiasco, only a handful of players used Tac Inserts properly but they're still in MW3, being used by the kiddies in FFA! |

i haven't played in a few weeks (just happen to be into other games at the moment) but like #1 says i do see and appreciate what they are trying to do. I'm really glad to see private modes entering public rotation too, that was mentioned before release and when i couldnt find anything about it i assumed they had just cancelled the idea and not said anything.
It is a shame the playerbase is so kdr driven, some of the game modes are really good if people would only play the objective more. |

and all three of these modes they are adding are free? or will they charge for them like usual?
@1 I agree I think dropzone sounds interesting, it might not be as bland as the rest of Multiplayer which has died unless your under 20 years old. MW3 is only on if my brother or a friend is over we splitscreen on spec ops or survival which are the only modes that are actually worth playing other than the Campaign, most of my friends arent gettin MW3 after seeing it at my house, no shock there. |

@Kenny1 A few points to note:
a) The next "crap of duty" will be by Treyarch, not Infinity Ward.
b) Don't apologise for something and then do it again in your next post.
c) Only kids under 10 (and EA marketing execs) think puns are clever.
d) This thread is talking about MW3 multiplayer; not the campaign, not World at War and not the excellent UC3. Please stop trolling mate. |

Nowadays, most console players are so ungrateful and discontented. I rather play BF3 or MW3 over bad shooters like "Rogue Warrior" or "Shellshock 2". Infinity ward, Treyarch or DICE do make awesome games so keep on trucking!

Yeah, I loved HC Richochet in MW2 so i'll try it for sure! And Drop Zone sounds fun, played it in Private Match but it isn't that fun with 2 players! :P And IW are living up to their word, adding new gamemodes to the playlist...

Bought the game yesterday... finished the campaing on veteran in one sitting, traded it today. COD online is simply out of range from BF3.. not trolling I played both and I realized that arcade shooter arent my type anymore.
Anyway, it's a good news for cod players, I'm glad they actually ''give'' something to their loyals fans for once.. |

EA's PR don't go for puns. They go more for the, tell the joke well then overplay the joke to the point where it's just creepy and quite terrifying for example "AND THEN WE SEND THEM CAKE! ARM CAKE! AND MONEY BUT THEY CAN'T SPEND IT! OH! OH! WE PRETEND TO BE PISSED OF CHRISTIANS! What if we scream battlefield at everyone who comes to E3 and throw buckets of blood and melted cheese at them!" | call of duty black ops was just fine. mw3 was no real improvement. it did go down in approval my the vast majority of people. secretly even the biggest fan boys have things they don't like about call if duty mw3. if they say otherwise they are lying more than ever. |

| I don't know what happened, but there's now only three types of players on MW3. 1: Campers. 2: Twitchy runners. 3: People like me who can't get into the game because of the previous two types. It's not like I hate CoD, but I personally find MW3 borderline unplayable. There's just too much bullshit. But...I always try Hardcore before throwing in the towel. And IW does Hardcore right. |

Alright I'm going to say it and probably get labeled as a troll, though for pre-reference you can find out for yourself that I have indeed played MW3. Simply look up this name through ELITE or look me up on PSN.
MW3, in my opinion, is horrible. The campaign is way too short and in many ways it seems like a step back from Black Ops.
Infinity Ward should've took a page from Treyarch. While the campaign in BO wasn't exactly long, it does seem like it took a bit more to finish than MW3. IW should've also realized that many, many people played BO for Zombies. Limiting Spec Ops to two players is, again, in my opinion, a bit of a mistake. They should've put it up to four like Zombies for better friend interactions. I also think they shouldn't have limited perks in Spec Ops to only one. Even they admitted that mistake though.
The one place the MW3 multiplayer has room to improve too is simple. Matchmaking. I mean look. In what world is it good to put beginner players up against already prestiged players, in particular ones that could be up to tenth prestige already? Hopefully they fix that and use MW3 player stats for better matchmaking.
At the end of the day though it is a free new mode so that's good. While I don't like the new modes myself, some do.
I just really think COD could benefit from taking a year off and getting more work put into their next title. I really don't think anybody here could disagree with that either.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP LETTING MULTIPLE ID SIGN INS BE EXCLUSIVE TO XBOX! My cousin and I play Spec Ops together when he's around and its kind of BS that he can't just simply sign into his PSN rather than being a guest and having to create a save, a save that he then can't transfer to his own PSN account as doing so gives you a message about the save not being from that user... That was a stupid idea. Shouldn't have to do the same things twice or more. |

| modern warfare 2.5 haha, i played this piece of sh*t game for hours on 360. Its the same ol sh*t from COD...Play a real game that actually takes skill to play "Battlefield 3". I will say that i use to love mw2 and then black ops came out and that was horrible, a friend got me into bad co 2 and it was difficult to make the change but once i actually got use to the environments and controlls there was no turning back. If infinity ward and/or treyarch would like to upgrade their engines like frostbyte did then it may not be a bad game...not to mention adding destruction and vehicles, oh and i cant forget "stop charging 15 dollars for every dlc that only comes with approx 5 maps" at least BF dlcs give u weapons, vehicles and maps. With that said, F*ck you COD.... |

Its so funny that people come in here and say that MW3 is exactly like MW2 but fail to realise that BF3 is the same as Bad Company 2 just with an updated engine, and im sorry but EA are just as money grabbing as Activision, considering the map pack for BF3 was just maps from BF2
so in conclusion stop hating on COD, if you dont like it thats fine but dont post about your haterd on the news bulletins a lot of people play and love COD a lot of people play and love BF3 each to there own so COD haters go away :) |

My biggest problem with MW3 is the map design. They are ALL horrible for sniping. In MW2 I used the .50 cal or m16 on every map, I use the ACR now because there are no good sniping spots at all, they turned it into "run and gun" duty
The only way I will be buying a map pack is if they are maps from MW or MW2, no more of these super small, cluttered maps. |

| u r right the dlc was from bf2 but redone with new engine and 10 weapons and 4 vehicles as well...cod makes a sh*t ton of money and they cant upgrade their engine for better graphics... |
