| I'm glad I didn't contribute to that money figure. Borrowed it off my roommate, to see what it was like, and I'm still disappointed. Thought I was playing Modern Warfare 1 & 2 all over again |

| I'm not a big fan either. They're obviously of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality. And it's working for them. Congrats... but really, whoopdie doo. They've made $1 billion on another average product. |

Im happy for people to have success and all that but it is a real shame that people are still buying this. yeah it is an entertaining game for about 2 weeks then you realise it is the same as the last COD game you bought. When the brought out COD4 it raised the bar in what a FPS multiplayer experience should be and now its like they cant be bothered to make a big leap like COD4 because they know everyone will buy it no matter what. Just think about the amount of people are employed to make these games yet none of them can come up with something new. what a joke |

| Wow,that's a lots of money and I really don't mind that.Game was day one buy for me and I've really enjoyed playing it.People always gonna bitch about "game running on old engine" or "sucks" because of "this or that" and secretly they still buy and play it.When seeing amount of money COD earn it from sales ,there going to be more to follow and still going to be "day one" buy for me.Now let other players hear how bad the game is and how lucky they are not to buy it. |

| So much for Battlefield killing it. They are both good games and this kind of should have been expected. Congrats to them. Congrats to BF as well because I know there sales are actually pretty good considering what it is going up against. |

| @12 improve graphics? who cares as long as the game plays well don't know bout you but i don't really go round looking at the map i run round killing people.improve gameplay how?seems ok as it is plays pretty smooth.new guns what you want them to make them up? emblems & titles so what doesn't do anything for game play.new story the game i played had a differnt story it was the 3rd part of the story.survival mode didn't they just add that? & new features is that not what they did with elite. |

"More popular than a cheeseburger at fat camp." I like this site but if there's one thing I would change, it would be to have better subtitles. Especially the ones for the new Rockband tracks... Those are really toe cringing bad. |

| @15 i don't understand if it's not the same stuff it would be a different game.if you want different buy a different game.if they changed the game people wouldn't like it and say wtf happened to cod it's not the same game.i don't understand what people want from cod. maybe cod turismo or something like that what can you really change about a fps.thats like saying driving games are more of the same stuff with going round laps over and over but the game is what it is.like any other game fifa is always the same tiger woods is always the same fighting games are always the same.what do you want them to do with cod maybe you should tell them instead of saying it's just the same. |

| Eh, can live without it. I'm not planning on buying it anytime soon because I lost interest after MW2, but I can see why it appeals to people. It's just a shame that it's the benchmark for the industry and that people seem to want to emulate it more and more- that's the only thing I'm worried about. |

I bought it as i've bought and enjoyed every game before. it's funny because i'm also part of the crowd that gets annoyed with IW's greed and lack of effort put into development. At the end of the day though it is a fun game to play for an hour or so from time to time. Not a patch on COD4, which i don't think any future COD will ever be. Sadly, they found a winning formula and decided to just spam us with the same over and over. It's still a good game, but my annoyance comes with the fact that it could be great but they refuse to do simple things (dedicated servers for a start) there are alot of games on the market that deserve bigger figures. |

...And people still go to Call of Duty news articles to say they didn't buy/like the game. What do you tell people when "cool story bro" doesn't work? As for Activision, what do they do with the money? They don't have to spend money on developing state-of-the-art engines or anything...you'd think they could actually put a great amount money into the CoD Endowment or some other charity... |

@7 you totally missed the point, Battlefield was never supposed to kill off COD or out sell it EA had more realistic goals than that, they simply wanted to take a good percentage of players away from COD and on to Battlefield which they have achieved. As for COD well I got the Hardened Edition off of my mate for £25 and I only play it when I have a friend over for Spec Ops Survival, the story was ok not much to it really considering its supposedly WW3 it was hardly a wall of bullets as veteran is a walk in the park, I see the Eiffel Tower being abused in MW3, BF3, GI Joe and Team America so that was truly uneventful and Makarovs death... whatever... Online is MW2 minus the Nuke but plus kids with RPGs who cant shoot, oh and speaking of which I will be selling the COD: ELITE Founder code that comes with Hardened Edition soon because ELITE sounds... poop. |
