EA Invite Us Back To Karkand Next Week

Battlefield 3's Back to Karkand DLC has a release date. The expansion pack hits on Tuesday 6th December on the US PSN, according to the PS Blog.

The pack is built around four maps, remade from Battlefield 2 in the Frostbite 2 engine. There's Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and the Sharqi Peninsula, all of which now gain from the improved tech's destruction engine. With the exception of Wake Island, which is more open, we're promised that you can reduce every map to rubble. Rubble!

In addition to this, there are also a bunch of new weapons and vehicles up for grabs. The latter offers up the insane VSTOL fighter jet, a Desert Buggy and an APC. Plus of course, there's five new trophies. But we already knew that. It's our job to know that.

Back to Karkand will cost $15, unless you picked up the Limited Edition of the game, in which case it is free. A European date has not yet been confirmed, but expect a Wednesday 7th release.

	Actually its said and i Qoute "I hope you are ready to go Back to Karkand, as we are releasing our first Battlefield 3 expansion pack Tuesday, December 6th on PlayStation 3 in America and Europe – a week early for PlayStation customers!" So its Europe to .. and this is only right way because else EU custumers get it 6 days before Xbox and the Promise is a Week that is 7 Days ;) .. So Tuesday its released US AND EUROPE

	Sorry, because of voip problems I only heard every other syllable of that invite. Damn you EA/Dice. Something you can charge more money for shouldn't take precedence over fixing basic game features.

	Perfect timing, with any luck I should have finished my last 5 MW3 Survival maps by then. Will then spend my first two days back on Battlefield knifing when I should be throwing a frag and vice versa :(

	Might as well be Wed. release. I live in California and their releases come out so late. Like 8pm. They should be available early.

	They need to fix the issue with reloading. Half the time I have 30 rounds in my assault rifle instead of 31... weird...
