Powered by Crytek's CryEngine 3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is certainly looking the part in these new screenshots, depicting a mission that takes place deep in the jungles of Burma. That means you'll have to do your best Arnie in Predator impression, and become the jungle. Mud, killer aliens and shouting are optional. For this mission, you'll need to sneak into a secret area where a shady deal involving the purchase of some Weapons of Mass Destruction is going down, and you have to assist in the interception of the WMDs transaction, with some accurate sniping. You'll enter via a boat, like you're entering Colonel Kurtz's compund in Apocalypse Now, except you'll be under the cover of darkness and you won't have to chat with Marlon Brando. Finding a vantage point, you'll then have to ensure that the sale of the WMDs doesn't go through, and then help rescue your buddies from the airfield when things go awry (don't they always?) Check out the new screenshots in the gallery for a glimpse at the Burma mission, then look out for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 in March 2012. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |
