@1 lol but yeah it sounds pretty cheap, but it's true, if one game sells good there is more money to make the next one. still to promote it that way? then they should have just made BG&E2 and do rayman afterwards. |

I'll do my part my part i will pick Rayman Origins. I'm surprised the game is doing good atm on metacrtic its setting at 87 out of 100 right now pulling down anywere from a 9.5 to a 7.0.
IGN give it a 9.5 http://ps3.ign.com/articles/121/1212052p1.html 1up give it a 9.1 http://www.1up.com/reviews/review-rayman-origins-2d-platformer and Gameinformer give it a 8.5 http://www.gameinformer.com/games/rayman_origins/b/ps3/archive/2011/11/10/rayman-origins-review-no-rabbids-required.aspx
If that doesn't make you wanna go out and get the game then your just a cheap gamer who only buys shooters after shooters after shooters. |

@3 what about gamers see Rayman as being a its a kids game? are you less of a gamer or a cheap ass gamer because you don't play kids games? @2 I agree Rayman hasn't been mentioned in years why bring him back now when BG&E2 was on the horizon anyway? and I always saw the Rayman series as a one trick pony, FFS the raving rabbids are more popular than Rayman himself. @4 I slightly agree, you would have thought that the success that the Assassins Creed series and the future success for Far Cry 3 would be able to give some support towards Ancel. |

| It's lucky I like Rayman because if I didn't I would not buy it, It's the Publisher's job to support there developer's if not the developer had better find a new Publisher. |

| @#6 I call those gamers snobs. I'm 25 and i try every game out there even if it is or looks like a kids game. Some of those kids games can be fun even more fun then the latest overrated overhyped First Person Shooter. I've played games like deblob 2 by the way that game was fun and i'll will enjoy Rayman Origins to. |

Didn't like Beyond Good & Evil much and couldn't care less for a sequel, but if I would want to support it; I'd do it by buying Beyond Good & Evil 2. Not some other game. Seriously, what's wrong with Ubisoft these days? A publisher should finance titles it believes in and considers fit to make profit off. If they don't think BG&E2 would be any good they shouldn't make it, simple as that. Telling fans of a game, hey we'll make a sequel if you buy our other games is absolutely ridiculous, inprofessional and, by the way, gives the impression they don't think these other games will be succesful enough without blackmailing the gamers into getting them. @8: Yeah, or you could just accept different people have different tastes and preferences. No need to call 'em snobs. |

No matter how much I liked Beyond Good & Evil, I will not buy I game I have no interest in. Not even if it should help Beyond Good & Evil 2. ====== "Ultimately, Rayman is [Ancel's] original creation, and if all the people that love Beyond Good & Evil understand he is more than a one trick pony... and that if Rayman: Origins does well, it gives him more leeway for other opportunities because he has to build up his studio," Key told Industry Gamers. ====== I can't stand stuff like this. If YOU think the game will sell, Key, support it. Don't ram Rayman down my throat just because I enjoyed Beyond Good & Evil and would like to see a sequel. |

| Maybe ubisoft should put some friggen effort into their HD collections (Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell) and they would sell better and would generate said cash. This whole thing reeks like the Megaman Legends 3 Demo fiasco |

BS. Ubi said the same damn thing about BG&E HD. Next thing y'know, they'll say this in response to Assassin's Creed: Revelations. As Zallera said, if Ubi put some effort into their HD Collections, which should be almost entirely profit, they could put that money toward newer projects. That said, if he got the leeway for Rayman, why didn't he go with BG&E2 what with the fanbase already being there... already buying BG&E... already waiting. Instead he goes with this Rayman project then says the same thing they did about BG&E. They're certainly not a one trick pony when it comes to excuses. |

@12 AND 13 - Completely agree... Ubisoft is really beginning to get on my nerves with their crap, blackmail now? Really? It makes no sense at all. I like some of their stuff like the Tom Clancy games and Assassin's Creed and what-not but they still always make stupid excuses like such. With the Publishing titans becoming so idiotic in their own ways of greed (Activision, EA, even Ubisoft) it really makes me lose faith in gaming which I have loved all my life... These days I only truly like the companies like Rockstar, 2K Games and the Sony branches Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Santa Monica and Sucker Punch. I dunno... Gaming is starting to feel a bit limited these days if you want to avoid bullshit like what Ubisoft is doing here... |

@14 Yeah, it is unfortunate that some publishing companies in gaming are so scummy. There are some really good developers that I like, but when they put themselves in the hands of these scumbags... it just makes me feel conflicted. Yeah, I can buy their games, but I support the devil too. I am a person that will avoid buying products because of my conscience (hehe, like I won't eat that delicious Chick-Fil-A anymore). So, yeah, I really liked Beyond Good and Evil. I have to decide if I will betray my conscience. I passed up the Assassin's Creed and Tom Clancy games, but BG&E2 will be hard to not support. If a decent publisher was saying this I would think they were being honest. With Ubisoft I think of it is as just scummy. |

| This game will be $40 (PS3/360) $30 (Wii) at Gamestop on Black Friday weekend. I think for that price I will support it and y'all should too since the game seem to be great. |
