It's time to blow Dead Rising 2: Off the Record wide open, as a pair of powerful new skills packs have hit the PlayStation Network today (tomorrow in Europe), boasting a variety of new items and abilities that are going to change your gameplay experience somewhat.

First up is the Firefighter Skills Pack, which like the Cyborg and BBQ Chef Skills Packs before it, offers new costumes and items to adorn Frank with. Here's what the Firefighter Skills Pack brings to Dead Rising 2: OTR:

• Increased speed when carrying or assisting survivors
• The ability to kick doors open
• New attack and increased durability with the fire axe
