Those of you who've been waiting for the inevitable Fallout: New Vegas GOTY edition to land will be happy to learn that next February will be the time to finally snap up the game and venture out into the wastelands, fighting deathclaws, geckos, radscorpions, super mutants, ghouls and all manner of mutated, irradiated beasts.

Coming complete with all of the game add-on content for Fallout: New Vegas, the Ultimate Edition gives you Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and the Gun Runners’ Arsenal to play through, adding new quests, weapons, items and locations.

So, as well as the New Vegas Wasteland, you'll also get to visit the Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, the Big MT research crater and the hurricane ravaged Divide, and enjoy an increased level cap of 50, right out of the box. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is out on February 7th, 2012 in North America and February 10th, 2012 in Europe. Yes, it's a 360 box below, but Bethesda hasn't released a PS3 one yet. It will be coming to PS3 too though.

I'd guess it'd be $59.99.

I heard this was a great game but a friend of mine said he had constant issues with freezing, to the point where almost every 30 min of gameplay required him to restart. Im not sure if it's the game itself or my buddy's PS3 but he never had one issues with Metal Gear Solid 4 and he played that hours on end.

Regardless I still wanna give this game a try

Well it's too late for me to buy this edition because I've been sitting on my copy for a while and I'll just have to buy the dlc for the 100%.

This will be awesome. I hope this will bring about as much fun as I have had with Fallout 3 GotY edition.

@6: Patches resolved many of the stability issues, but that still doesn't address the fact that New Vegas isn't even HALF the game that Fallout 3 was. If only Bethesda would patch the issues in THAT game's GOTY Edition... *sigh*

I bought Fallout 3 and New Vegas on their launch dates and never had any technical problems with them besides the Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3 which had probably a framerate of 10fps most the time. Anyone know thw stability of the New Vegas add ons and which are best because I maybe interested in them soon.

I'll probably just get Lonesome road, which looked like the best of the four. And there are no skorpions at the canyon wreckage....

This is just what I have been holding out for. especially after buying every piece of dlc for Fallout 3 and not being blown away by them. plus this will depreciate very quickly. this time next year you will be able to pick it up for next to nothing I bet.

@#13: Same for me. I avoid getting games with lots of DLC being almost certain, like Fallout, since it's cheaper to wait for the collection pack. And easier than waiting between each pack, too.

@14 It's also nice not having to waste the HDD space on the DLCs.

Dead Money was hard as hell! Most of the others were fun and challenging! But between that and Fallout 3 DLC, I think Fallout 3 takes the cake, of which is not a lie.

Ultimate Edition: What you name your game re-release when it's not good enough to be called Game of the Year Edition.

This will look great on the shelf next to my GOTY Fallout 3! Sometimes it sucks being a cheap bastard when it comes to DLC....

OK I knew this was coming but it pisses me off a little. Next Fallout game is gonna wait till they come out with the DLC edition. Fuck you, Bethesda.
