Chances are you might have beaten all of Batman: Arkham City's Riddler's Revenge challenge maps, but it's not over yet, as today sees the release of the Nightwing Bundle Pack, which enables you to play as Dick Grayson's heroic alter-ego on all challenge maps.

The Nightwing Bundle also adds two new challenge maps with Wayne Manor and Main Hall, as well as an additional Animated Series skin for Nightwing. Nightwing also has his own unique gadgets and fights with his electrified tonfa AKA Escrima Sticks, using his formidable martial arts skils gleaned from Batman.

Nightwing is also packing wrist darts and other advanced offensive devices. Check it out in the Nightwing DLC trailer below. You'll be able to nab the Batman: Arkham City Nightwing Bundle Pack later today in North America for $6.99 and in the UK and Europe from tomorrow for £5.49/€6.99.

It looks awesome, but it just isn't worth it to me if it doesn't add something to the story mode.

"electrified tonfa AKA Escrima Sticks"? Totally different weapons mate, tonfa have side-handles (American's call them "nightsticks"), these are escrima.

I'm loving the combat challenges (even if I'm crap at them), there's a real difference between Batman, Catwoman and Robin so I'm dying to try Nightwing out :)

I have to agree with #3. For $7, giving me only the ability to play as a new character in some challenge maps doesn't seem very interesting. Back in the day, this type of thing would be an unlockable upon completing the game, or something, but now they're holding it back for cash.

While they look cool, if the Robin and Nightwing DLC packs added some sort of short story arc, featuring the two heroes, that coincided with Arkham City's plot, or followed it, then I'd see it as a justified price, but it isn't as is.

@#3
I totally agree with you. They should have included some missions like what they did with catwoman.

Well the first 3 missions for Catwoman were way too short to be considered levels at all. The last level was actually a decent level for her. Arkham City was amazing, but I won't be paying $7 just to play in a challenge map. That's just too much to ask for. Maybe $2 to $3, but not $7. Later on, they will release the bonus costumes and challenge maps in a bundle for half the price. I think I'll wait till then.

I would get this in half a second if there was a story mode for him.
