Giving the Incredible Hulk a good run for his money in the anger stakes, Asura will be kicking off big time when Asura's Wrath launches in February 2012. Capcom and developer Cyber Connect 2 told us news of the release date at the Capcom Gamers Day last week and it was supposed to be embargoed until later today, but predictably, it's already been blabbed all over the net.

Asura is a demigod who's framed for the murder of the Emperor and the subsequent killing of his own wife, before being stripped of his powers and exiled. Naturally, Asura gets a bit upset over all of this and swears revenge against the gods and other powers that be who set him up.

We played Asura's Wrath again recently, in English this time and the story is still as nutty as the TGS version Dan played last month (which was actually the same). So, cue lots of shouting, punching and outrageous feats of rage-induced strength as Asura's Wrath prepares to burst onto consoles on February 21st, 2012 in North America and February 24th, 2012 in Europe.
