i would like to see some crossovers but mortal kombat is my favourite fighting game because of all the pointless blood and over the top violence so i would hate to see them turn in into a 12+ rated game for the sake of street fighter.
seeing street fighter as an 18 on the other hand would be uber cool |

| @3 maybe,but I don't think street fighter fans would be pleased with such a thing nor tekken fans. Remember,They are gonna have to consider the public opinion of all 3 sides first,because then if they do something that both all three sides don't like,it could lead to trouble. |

| Yoshinori Ono put out a statement regarding crossovers with MK when they started on SFx Tekken, and he basically said that it would be out of the question. Having Scorpion rip out chun-li's spine would be way too dark for the sf series, which is pretty light-hearted and comedic. |

Hmmm... Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinc would be epic!, but.... i really don't want to ruin the party guys but there is a problem:
Killer Instinc is owned by Rare and Rare is owned by Microsoft, so if that would happen (MK vs KI) will be a X360 exclusive
and about the others franchise i don't think that will work because Mortal Kombat is complety different of others fighting games, not by the violence, is for the fact that all the MK games are easy to play, easy to use the powers, easy to make combos and the free aspect of create combos (and not generic), that is i think in my opinion, i said that because i suck (but i really suck) in fighting games like Street fighter, King of fighters, Guilty gear, etc..., but except in Mortal Kombat because like i say before is easy to play.
Now if Ed Boon want to make a crossover MK game and can be release for PS3/X360 well what about.... (i don't know if anybody here played or heard this dead fighting franchise before):

yep "Clay Fighters", anybody played/heard of this series before?, that game was fun, i always rented when i was a kid for my SNES (and also i rented the N64 version too).

i would fucking love seeing a new killer instinct, especially if it was by these guys. and KI may be the only fighting series out there that could match that well with MK. unfortunately, KI is a Rare product, and Microsoft has Rare's balls in a vice at this point.
and a modern clayfighter would be awesome, too, if done in a twisted enough way. :) |

@10 nintendo owned the rights to killer instinct (all home versions were nintendo exlclusive) so it's a safe bet they still own the rights, they probably will never use them, but they still own them
Arcade rights belonged to rage/midway
Even if killer instinct came to xbla, microsoft wouldn't own the rights to the game, only the digital distribution rights to that game being on their system, so there is no reason to believe a full proper game would be xbox exclusive |

| @16 Rare stated years ago that Nintendo has no claim in KI anymore, its all owned by Rare, which means owned my Microsoft. If you don't believe, ask them on twitter, as they answered that questions MANY times. |

I would like to see Ryu shoot a hydoken as scorpion and have a DBZ styled death.
However, killer instinct wins because they featured deaths and boombox breakdancing finishers lol. It only makes the transition easier since their game is used to the characters dying. |

| I do like how they are considering it, but also, do not wish to go bellow their M rating as well. Good to know that they'd still want to keep the series as bloody and gory as ever. I would play a crossover MK game if they still did indeed, keep the M rating about it. |

| Well lets look at one point of this... If they do decide on making a crossover, then how will it affect the fatality system? Sure Scorpion can BBQ the enemies, but what will the they do once their focus turns on the enemies and the creator asks FINISH HIM?! Then what will they do? |

I remember when I was much younger (SNES days) I wanted a SF VS MK crossover :) But I do very much like this idea of MK VS KI. Like people have been saying, it;d probably be a 360 exclusive, but still, it has the makings of a very good game.
