Eidos Montreal has announced via Twitter that Deus Ex: Human Revolution's The Missing Link DLC will be coming next week, filling in the events that unfolded during Adam Jensen's three-days aboard a Belltower cargo freighter, tortured and battered with his augmentations switched off.

Your mission will be to get off the boat and escape the clutches of Belltower Security, re-assigning Adam's augmentations to essentially build a better Jensen. You'll be able to get hold of the first batch of Deus Ex: HR DLC soon.

In fact, you'll be able to grab The Missing Link from the PlaYStation Store on October 18th, 2011 in North America and October 19th in Europe for £8.99/$14.99. Here's the second part of the walkthrough on the Belltower seabase, in case you missed it before.

This looks good but the price is a bit steep.

@3, I have to step in to defend this game by saying you're just dead wrong. Maybe the game is just beyond your mental capacity.

$15 DLC ==> Wait for the GOTY edition.

Sooner or later game companies will realize that by trying to nickel and dime people by withholding gameplay chapters/levels until later that they're just shooting themselves in the foot.

It's already at 30€ if I wait a bit I might get it with all DLC for maybe 20€ like Borderlands is now.

@7: but borderlands is like 3 years old, so you'd have to wait for a long long timeXD but I agree 15 euro is a lot for DLC, but this looks like it might be one of the best DLC packages this year.

I still gotta get the main game, but this sure looks cool:D

Aww man, I was looking forward to this. Not sure if I can justify paying that price now though.

Man I was so looking forward to this but 15 is a bit extreme. That's 1/4 the price of the main game with I'm sure no where near the length or excitement. I used to buy DLC all the time for games but now they are just getting out of hand with the prices.

I agree with everyone here 15 dollars is way too much for some dlc. This is a very good game but come on its no modern warfare 2.So quit trying to screw people like Activison does SquareEnix

Hmm. I would have picked it up instantly for 10 bucks. It's hard to justify buying DLC over buying a brand new game like an HD collection at 15 dollars.

But I really enjoyed playing Deus Ex...hmm...

If someone wonders about EUR: they said it's 11,25 EUR @ PS3.
Looks like we don't get screwed with the usual 1:1 pricing and looks A LOT more reasonable :)

I will get this, I don´t care about the price.
The game was good and I would love to be able to play more of it.
That is my reason. :)

Eidos Montreal stated the length of game play was 4-5 extra hours, correct? 5 hours of gameplay for $15 = $10 per hour. Thats an expensive hour. I'll wait. Sorry, guys. I loved this game but can't pay $15 for 4-5 hours of game play.

15$ for what? trophy whores to strive for more unnecessary glory, and spoiled kids to keep wasting their parents money? They moved the release date of the basic game from early 2011 to early fall, so why couuldn't they just throw this piece in the basic package?
