Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will be getting its co-op injection later this month with the free Exterminatus DLC, which adds 4-player co-op gameplay across two scenarios, with a choice of three player classes. You'll be able to pick from Tactical Marine, Devastator or Assault class, and each will have its own set of weapons and perks, just like competitive multiplayer. As well as the two scenarios called 'Hab Center Andreas' and 'Escape From Kalkys Facility', there'll be multiple arenas to play through with leaderboard support and dynamic challenges to complete, like killing a set number of Orks or Chaos Demons within a time limit, with extra lives and points as the reward for successful completion. XP earned in the co-op Exterminatus mode will also carry over to competitive multiplayer and vice-versa. You'll be able to download the free Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Exterminatus Mode on October 25th, and there's more DLC on the way in the near future. “There are some plans [for more], said Producer, Andy Lang. “We’re working on some other DLC.” [Via VG247] ![]() | |
