Here’s a new vid for Inversion, talking you through the Namco Bandai shooter’s unique gameplay.

Detailing some of the cool things you can do with Inversion’s quirky gravity manipulation mechanic, the vid acts as a decent primer as to what to expect. It’s the first part of what promises to be an on-going series telling us “everything you need to know about Inversion 101.”

Inversion is out on February 7th in North America and February 10th in Europe next year.

This looks too gimmicky and repetitive for my liking so I'll pass.

I think the first two things looked a bit boring and could get really repetitive but the Vector Shift seems interesting and good way to get more fun out of smaller levels. The world has enough crappy "real combat" shooters and not enough games like Portal 2, I've not really heard much about Inversion but will keep an eye on it and see how it turns out before passing.

Remembers me of Army of Two and I fuckin love that game. I think the zombies are a minus but thats fashion now isnt it? I honestly think that 1 or 2 sporting games company have actually tought about using zombies.

@3 Thats funny I could imagine Madden with zombie players. And actually now that I think about it im pretty sure one of the older Madden, or Gamedays a few years back, had a whole team of zombies you could unlock... Maybe it was the ESPN football game, I cant remember but one of em definitely did.
