| Boss fights aren't neccesary a bad thing, but the fact that the ones in Deus Ex: HR didn't require any special tactics (Typhoon anyone?) made them seem like a waste of time. |

@3 HELL YES! I loved the game, bossbattles just felt a little unusual Thats why you had to change playstyle during bossbattles. Kinda got me conflicted with my inventory. Had to keep explosive and unsilent shit. |

I kind of like how the boss fights were in the original on realistic mode - cheeseable if you had the right stuff or the right way to do it. And in the new game, I think the final boss followed this trend, while the other fights just sorta felt weird. The final fight felt pretty right (ish) |

| The boss fights are definitely a low point in the game. Nonetheless, Deus Ex is still a fantastic game :D |

| I still don't get all the hate on the boss battles. I thought they were just as awesome as the rest of the game. = |

Well, this kinda explains why the bosses didn`t really fit with the rest of the game. Namely that you HAD to kill, something the original didn`t force you into. Also, I guess GRIP didn`t use the same quality control as Eidos Montreal did, because otherwise, they`d have weeded out the exploit that makes the third boss a 10-second affair. Ah well, game`s still brilliant. |

Well, while the boss fights didn't quite fit in with the rest of the game, figuring out how to deal with each of the bosses was, although a bit infuriating at first, quite entertaining. And figuring out how to get trough each one without using Typhoons or frag mines makes 'em all the more enjoyable... |

| boss battles weren't bad, just needed more options imo. like being able to hack a turret that does the shit for you...? or more stealthing would've been nice. but it's really not as bad as people say :) |

I agree with most of the comments. The boss battles were hard at first, until you remember that you can save anywhere and use typhoons. I don't agree with some of the reviewers saying how the game unfairly has you train in stealth and then pits you against a boss and you are not properly prepared--typhoon and recoil are about the only combat upgrades...it would have been nice to see a boss battle that you don't have to win with killing, but oh well, I think it worked out just fine. As for the GitS:HR video--that looks and sounds even better than regular GitS. Thank you for posting. |
