Saints Row: The Third just keeps on getting weirder and weirder. Then just when you think it couldn't get any weirder, Volition and THQ have gone ahead and confirmed that there'll be a special something to discover in the character customisation wardrobe. If you want to create your own character, that's all well and good, but how about playing as a real-life person?

That person in question is ex-Team Ninja Game Designer Tomonobu Itagaki who is currently working on new project Devil's Third with his own Valhalla Studios for THQ, and will feature as a preset character in Saints Row: The Third's character creation menus as a fully playable character.

Complete with his trademark leather jacket and shades, Japanese game development icon Itagaki will be available to take out onto the streets of Steelport to blow up stuff and wreak general havoc. Now there's a sentence we never thought we'd be typing. Saints Row: The Third is out on November 15th in North America and November 18th in Europe.

	saints row 2 was better than gta4. may be like the mad comics version of a sandbox game, but still better than the last gta

	@2 GTAIV was in my opinion way superior on gameplay mechanics. SR2 had to many little things that annoyed me. (empty streets)

	Then why was Dead or Alive 3 & 4, Extreme Beach 360 exclusives? He also didn't work on the Ninja Gaiden Sigma series since he hated those versions.

	How many time do i have to say it?! WITHOUT GTA THERE WAS NEVER A SR. GTA will ALWAYS be better and you know it. yes i like SR too and i cant wait for SR3 but GTA will always have a better story no question

	#11, GTA will always be better than SR, and I know it? Actually I'm pretty sure that's an opinion. What you think is better than something else is not what everyone believes. I enjoyed Saints Row 2 more than GTA IV.

	@13 Oh my....Let me make this easy, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Who in the world would want a place where no one entitled to their own opinion? Okay OT, I really enjoyed SR1 and SR2, and going to buy SR3. I can't wait to see what SR3 has in store.:)
