Featuring new challenges, new environments and more story, Housemarque has today announced DLC for its PSN smash hit Dead Nation, in which you'll pick up the story where you left off and face even more zombies as you wake up in the middle of a laboratory and must make good your escape.

Fortunately, you'll have new tools, weapons and equipment to help you fight through fresh breeds of undead and new locations. Entitled Dead Nation: Road of Devastation, the add-on will have you choosing your path as you leave the lab, with each road presenting its own unique areas, challenges and enemies.

"We've been working hard since the launch of Dead Nation to bring exciting new content to the fans of the game" says Housemarque CEO Ilari Kuittinen. "Since the launch of the game, Dead Nation has been a top selling PSN title having fans all around the globe. After being included in the Welcome Pack offering helping the game to reach over 3.8 millions downloads which is simply mindboggling and unheard of for a PSN game."

A release date and price has yet to be decided for Dead Nation's Road of Devastation DLC, but there is this here screenshot to have a look at. Very blue, yes?

Awesome, loved this game. Too bad my HDD crashed erasing my old save, so I will never beat it on Morbid/Undead. But still this game is amazing and I cannot wait for this DLC.

There has already been a patch released that seems to fix that issue.

12@ Likely not.
Personally,Im a bit glad since this game is very enjoyable, but they will really have to do some explanation with the story, especially in co-op after what happened.Maybe this time it will be a happy ending.

Maybe some of those 3.8 million downloads were because of it being free? Other than that, I think this game is awesome and looking forward to DLC for it.

Awesome, just what I was waiting for :D

Dead Nation is epic, it can be very difficult or very casual but always fun, can't wait.
