Ubisoft has today announced that it's publishing Demiurge Studios quirky downloadable and aptly titled side-scrolling shooter, Shoot Many Robots, which does exactly what it says on the tin. You play as P. Walter Tugnut (the P is for Pickles, apparently) who is on a mission to destroy as many robots as possible when an ominous factory starts producing the killer machines at an alarming rate.
With four-player co-op, Shoot Many Robots is a run-and-gun shooter with a sprinkling of RPG elements such as weapon and item customisation, as well as two modes: Traversal and Survival. Traversal tasks you with simply making it through a level, while Survival pits you against waves of killer robots, potentially providing hours of fun.
"Ubisoft is excited to be working with Demiurge Studios on the release of Shoot Many Robots," said Adam Novickas, Director of Marketing at Ubisoft. "Ubisoft is focused on providing players with a strong and diverse portfolio of digital titles, and Demiurge is set to bring another amazing game to the digital space with Shoot Many Robots."
