In Driver: San Francisco's multiplayer, racing is really only the tip of the iceberg, what wth all the 'Shift' shenanigans and other underhand tricks you'll have at your disposal, as you tear around the streets of the titular Golden Gate City ramming your competition off the road.

Using the 'Swap' ability for instance, enables you to instantly change into another vehicle, while 'Spawn' lets you appear right in the middle of the road anywhere you like, as any vehicle from your extensive garage. No doubt that'll raise some eyebrows and surprise your opponents in multiplayer.

There's co-op and competitive multiplayer modes to discover in Driver: San Fran, including Trailblazer, Shift Races, Classic Races and Blitz, some of which are also playable in local splitscreen. There's over a dozen MP modes in total, meaning that you'll have plenty to get your teeth into when Driver: San Francisco releases in September 2011.
