THQ Reveals New Homefront DLC With "The Rock" Map Pack

"Fall in soldier, ready the troops" and all that, because Homefront is getting a new multiplayer map pack, featuring two completely new maps and two new Team Deathmatch areas based around San Francisco, particularly Alcatraz AKA 'The Rock'. Here's what the Homefront 'The Rock' Map Pack will include:

Alcatraz - America’s most infamous prison becomes the site of fierce close-quarters fighting.
Bridge – A combined arms effort to secure the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding area, large-scale warfare at its best!
Waterway – Wage war atop storefronts and in the streets of the Spillway, where every inch feels like a mile.
Overpass – Battle in a fan-favourite Ground Control space for the first time in Team Deathmatch!

You'll be able to "take back San Francisco, one piece at a time" when the multiplayer Homefront 'The Rock' Map Pack DLC hits the PlayStation Store for a suggested price of $4.99. There's no specific date for the pack just yet, but according to the announcement post on the official Homefront site, it's "coming soon", but will be releasing on Xbox 360 first before coming to the PlayStation Network.

	So, THQ killed off Kaos, but releases DLC months later? Weird. I imagine these maps were already finished by the time the studio went down. It`s demise is a shame, really. Sure, Homefront was a generic shooter, with an interesting conception executed sloppily, but it wasn`t bad enough to warrant firing all employees. Anyway, some supports after release is always welcome, as is the pricepoint of this pack. Contrary to the fortune a certain Activision franchise charges for extra maps. Either way, shame about Kaos closing down and this game flopping, but it could`ve been avoided by doing a better job.

	ill get it. this game took like 125 hours to platinum and most of the time was very fun, but what about all the singleplayer dlc which would most definetely have trophies that was rumored? i would really want somthing more sp related,oh well maybe later :(

	No SP DLC yet? That's what they promised and what I'm waiting for.

	@Actually they didn't promise SP DLC, they promised a sequel and to be honest it was already confirmed a month or two prior to Homefront's initial release. @3 Didn't you hear? Homefront was assigned to another studio. To me that really sounds as if THQ wants Homefront to lift off.
