2K Games has nailed down a proper release date for The Darkness II, which had been previously slated for an October 2011 launch in North America and Europe. That date has now shifted into early next year, delaying the game by four months. Featuring the return of Jackie Estacado, who is now the Don of the family, you'll get to quad-wield with the aid of the darkness itself, using the tentacles to perform executions and throw objects at enemies while shooting with both hands. You'll also have the aid of the little darkling minion, who'll aid Jackie at various junctures.
