If you want to see the jet fighter portion of the Ace Combat: Assault Horizon demo we played at E3 2011, then you've come to the right place, as Namco Bandai has released gameplay footage from the action-packed section, wherein you pilot a F-22 Raptor through massively hostile skies, shooting down numerous Russian enemies. You can take a closer look at the new close-combat mechanic that enables you to zoom right in and lock in on the tail of an enemy fighter to let rip with homing missiles and your minigun. And there's also the opportunity to check out the underslung missiles that emerge from the belly of your fighter. You can use these to lock on to four bogies at once. See how much G-force you can endure in the Assault Horizon gameplay trailer below, then check out our own account of the E3 demo in our hands-on preview. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is locked on to an October 11th release in North America and an October 14th launch in Europe. | |
